Our stunning 2 bedroomed gite "Le Petit Chapel" is now available for rental.

The accommodation comprises:

Spacious comfortable lounge and dining area with English satellite TV, fully equipped kitchen with hob, built in oven and microwave, bathroom, 2 good size bedrooms, one with 2 single beds and a mezzanine bedroom with a double bed.

Outside is a sheltered patio area ideal for evening BBQ's and watching the local wildlife. There is also a large lawned area with mature trees providing shade, which can be a real blessing on those hot summer days!

Prices for 2010

1 April – 29th May                    £200 per week
29th May – 3rd July                   £250 per week
3rd July – 4th September            £300 per week
4th September – 2nd October    £250 per week
2nd October – 31st October      £200 per week

£50 non refundable deposit per week, balance to be paid 6 weeks before arrival.

Arrival on the day not before 4pm and we request guests leave by 10am on day of departure.

History

As the name suggests this pretty, sunny gite, was a temporary place of worship for the people of Chaunay when their church was burned down during the french revolutionin 1792.

The building dates back to the 14th Century when it was part of the Tassay Chateau. The original stone chapel window and oak lintel are still in place.
